On September 26, 2024, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then, I’ve made it a tradition to participate in the Breast Friends 5K each year—not only to support an incredible cause and honor those going through cancer, but as part of my own healing journey. There’s something powerful about being surrounded by a community that understands, supports, and uplifts. This is my way of healing… and of helping others feel less alone. Movement, connection, and community—these have carried me forward.
